My birthday boy!

I know I'm almost a week late on this post but that's okay! (;

Also, Jase is probably going to kill me for this but I just can't help making this post all about him since he is the birthday boy. He likes to lay low when it's his birthday but I'm the opposite! I want to celebrate all month and make him feel super special.

So here we go.  Jase is one of a kind. He's a go-getter, he's a hard worker, he is funny, and he's loving. He forgets where he puts things (I don't know how many wallets he has had in his lifetime, but it's a lot), he leaves drawers open, he hogs the bed and forgets to turn the lights off when he leaves the house. BUT he is one heck of a husband and I wouldn't change anything about him.  All of those qualities I mentioned, are the reasons I fell in love with him.

Jase and I have an absolute BLAST together. We know how to have a good time. If you could be a fly on the wall in our lives you would learn how crazy/weird we are. There is never a dull moment with us, no matter if we are at home, driving somewhere, or out and about.

He doesn't know this but I keep a note page on my phone (I really should use my journal, I'm working on that) of some of my favorite memories with him or quotes by him. Most of them are funny, and some are more personal that I won't share. But a few include:

*When we got married and settled in our house, I told him that whoever was the last person out of our bed for the day had to make the bed. His reply was "Okay then I guess I will just sleep in the guest room so I don't ever have to make it." (No, he doesn't actually sleep in the guest bed and YES he NEVER makes our bed.)

*One night he really wanted McDonald's. Neither of us had any money on us (his wallet I'm sure was MIA and mine was at home) so he tried to round up money in the car. We came up with a whopping $1.94. We pull up to order in the drive thru and Jase says "Can I get two things from the dollar menu if I only have $1.94?" (I'm dying and so embarrassed at this point.). The worker is stumped and doesn't know what to say obviously, because of course 2 things at .99 would be more than what we had. However, she said sure and let him order his double hamburger and diet coke. He was so pumped that she was kind enough to let him order 2 things. I've never seen someone so excited over McDonalds.

*For some reason, Jase is NOT a fan of boots in the winter. He makes fun of me everytime I wear them. (I don't let that stop me) Anyways, one day we were driving to his parents and he randomly says "Do you ride horses?" I looked at him so confused and said "No?" He replied "Me either, I don't have any boots to wear." I just started laughing realizing he was yet again making fun of my boots and then he continued on and said "We should just get you a horse to ride to work everyday instead of a car."

*Not sure how you guys do this at your house but I started out doing the laundry and putting both mine and Jase's away but one day he was so sweet and said..."You don't need to put mine away, I can do it." So ever since then I have folded it and put it in his basket and left it for him to put away. Ironically, now he always says he will pay me $10 to put away for him. (I tell him no since his money is my money...vica versa)

*My most favorite memory/memories though are the times he tells me things like "he likes being married cause he always has a friend" and when he tells me he loves me and all the sweet things like that. I love the random texts he sends me when he is at work, saying how grateful he is for me. MAKES MY HEART MELT and my love for him grows. He is so special to me. I am so lucky to call him mine.

I LOVE YOU JASE ROBERT LANGSTON!!! Happy 24th birthday! xoxo
