We headed up late Thursday night and crashed when we got to my parents house. Since my sister is living in Southern Utah now, when we go visit my parents we have a HOUSE FULL. All the kids, spouses, and grand-kids under one roof. It's awesome to be all together.
We pretty much just partied (and watched basketball) all weekend long.
Friday, Kimmie and I did a bridal shower for our cute friend Kara that is getting married next month. I'm so excited for her and Chandler to get married, they make a super cute couple. It was SO much fun to have everyone together for her shower. We had an awesome turn out and we all got to catch up. It was like we were in high school again, just hanging out, laughing, and being crazy.
Saturday afternoon we had a baby shower for my cousin who is having a sweet little baby boy next month. I can't wait to meet him!
That night was Nixon's big 2 year old party! There was a lot of family there for this and once again it was SOOOO good to see everyone. Shay and Nick know how to throw a fun party when it comes to Nixon's birthdays. They had it at the most adorable "train park" in South Weber where this guy has a train for the kids (and adults) to ride. It was a perfect night for a party!
It was so good to have all the family together, I love getting to spend time with them! I seriously was blessed with such great parents and siblings! Love you guys (:
